Position Summary
We are looking for motivated, reliable and physically fit Construction Laborers to join our client's construction team.
The successful candidates will provide general support on construction sites, assisting skilled workers and carrying out a variety of manual and operational tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient progress of construction activities.
Previous construction experience is an advantage but may not be essential, depending on the project.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist skilled workers and tradespeople with daily construction activities.
- Prepare and organize construction materials, tools and equipment.
- Load, unload and move construction materials around the worksite.
- Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.
- Assist with the preparation of construction areas.
- Carry out general manual labor tasks as instructed by supervisors.
- Support different construction teams according to project requirements.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
- Comply with health, safety and operational procedures.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment or operational issues.
- Perform other duties appropriate to the role.
Essential Requirement
- No formal qualification required for general laborer positions.
- Previous construction experience is an advantage.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual work.
- Ability to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Commitment to health and safety procedures.
- Valid right to work in the relevant country.
Technical Requirement
- Basic knowledge of construction site procedures.
- Ability to use basic hand tools is an advantage.
- Previous experience handling construction materials is an advantage.
